Kimmo Ranta

Kimmo Ranta has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and firmware development. Kimmo currently works at Detection Technology as a Senior Engineer, Firmware, and was previously a Principal Engineer, FPGA. Prior to that, they worked at Minima Processor Oy as a Senior Engineer. Kimmo also has experience in managerial roles, having worked at VeriSilicon as a Manager for Design Engineers & General Manager. Kimmo has also worked at Google as a Customer Project Manager. Earlier in their career, Kimmo worked at Hantro Products/On2 Technologies as a Customer Project Manager and Team Lead. Kimmo started their career at Nokia, where they held various positions, including R&D Specialist, ASIC Design, Senior Design Engineer, ASIC Design, Design Engineer, ASIC Design, Thesis Worker, ASIC Design, and Intern, ASIC Design.

Kimmo Ranta attended the University of Oulu from 1996 to 2001, where they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
