Sami Meriläinen

Sami Meriläinen has extensive work experience in program and project management, with a focus on product lifecycle management and international projects. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Project Manager at Filtronic LK until 2005. From 2005 to 2010, they served as a Program Manager at Pulse Finland Oy, overseeing project managers and managing key customer programs. Sami also participated in global meetings, ensured solid communication with customers, and supported production in antenna technology. From 2010 to 2013, they held the role of Director, NPL, at Pulse Electronics Corporation, managing new NPL organization in Suzhou and supervising key customer projects. Sami also led the development of project processes and improved project cost management. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Program Manager at Pulse Electronics Corporation, managing international programs and supervising project managers. At Elisa Videra, they worked as a Project Manager for international projects from 2014 to 2016, planning and executing video, digital signage, and development projects. Lastly, they joined Detection Technology in 2016 and held various positions, including Senior Project Manager and Product Manager, with a focus on program and project management.

Sami Meriläinen has a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Industrial Management from Oulu University of Applied Science, which they completed from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Automation Engineering from The Oulu University of Applied Sciences School of Engineering, graduating between 1996 and 2000. Sami'shigh school education was completed at Pateniemen Lukio, although the specific time period is not provided.
