Dr. Luc Perkins

Dr. Luc Perkins is a seasoned software engineer currently with Determinate Systems, Inc. since August 2022, focusing on promoting Nix technology. Prior experience includes roles as a technical evangelist at Datadog, developer experience engineer at Timber.io, and software engineer at BlockFi. Dr. Perkins served as a developer advocate for the Cloud Native Computing Foundation and worked as a technical writer at multiple organizations, including Twitter, where contributions to engineering effectiveness were notable. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke University and a degree in Political Science with a focus on Critical Theory from Reed College.
