Tan Huynh

Tan Huynh has a wealth of work experience in various industries. Tan began their career in 2002 as a News Presenter for BBC News. In 2003, they moved to Singapore to become a Trade Finance Analyst for Citigroup. In 2005, they relocated to London to work as an Associate in the Investment Banking Team for ABN AMRO Bank. In 2009, they moved to Australia to become a Senior Associate in the Investment Banking team for Nomura. In 2012, they joined EMR Capital as Director, helping to grow the Fund from zero to $1.3 billion AuM in 4 years. In 2018, they co-founded a Stealth mode Startup, raising a $500K pre-seed round from institutional VCs in the US and Australia, on the back of a very well-received MVP. In 2020, they co-founded Detexian as Chief Executive Officer, empowering Heads of IT with turnkey solutions to secure IT operations, reduce waste and compliance costs.

Tan Huynh received a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 2000 and 2003.
