Aaron Lackey

Aaron Lackey has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Aaron began their career at Lincolnshire Courtyard as a Marriott Assistant General Manager from May 1999 to March 2002. Aaron then worked at the Kansas City Airport as a Senior Assistant Controller from August 2002 to May 2004. Following that, they joined the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center as a Senior Assistant Controller from May 2004 to January 2006. Aaron then moved on to White Lodging Services, where they served as a Market Controller from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Marriott International as a (Multi-Unit) Director of Finance and Accounting, a role they held until October 2015. Since October 2015, Aaron has been working as the Chief Financial Officer at the Detroit Athletic Club. Additionally, they were involved with the Detroit Chapter of the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) from November 2015 to 2018.

Aaron Lackey received their Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant, Tourism, and Institutional Management from Purdue University West in 1998. Aaron then went on to pursue their Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance at Roosevelt University, completing their education in 2006.
