Chris Contos

Chris Contos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, business development, and hospitality management. Currently serving as a Senior Sales Manager at Mews since June 2025, Chris also holds the position of Part Owner at Detroit City FC. Previously, Chris worked at Evention from February 2016 to May 2025, ascending through roles as Senior Business Development Executive, Director of Business Development, and Senior Account Executive. From January 2022 to December 2023, Chris was the Global Director at Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), where involvement included roles such as Co-Chair of the HFTP Young Professionals Advisory Council and a board member of the Chicago Chapter. Chris's earlier career includes internships at Hyatt Hotels Corporation and refereeing for the United States Soccer Federation. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Hospitality Leadership, Economics, and HR Management from DePaul University.
