Stennett Nyekanyeka

Stennett Nyekanyeka is a skilled professional with extensive experience in project management and youth coaching. Currently serving as Track Manager at Detroit Economic Growth Corporation since March 2025 and Boys' Director of Coaching at Detroit City FC since June 2022, Stennett oversees the development of youth soccer programs. Previous roles include Assistant Head Coach for Boys' Varsity at Cass Technical High School, Project Manager for both Detroit Land Bank Authority and Regus, and multiple coaching positions within Nationals Troy. Stennett also brings experience in hospitality as a former Bar Manager at Traffic Jam and Snug. Stennett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Wayne State University.
