Lizzie Nash

Lizzie Nash has extensive experience in mathematics education and cheerleading, currently serving as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher and Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Detroit Country Day School since August 2017. Previously, Lizzie worked as a Director at Champion Cheerleading, where responsibilities included interviewing and training staff and collaborating on camp programming. An Alternative Education Math Teacher at Hartland Consolidated Schools from July 2013 to July 2017, Lizzie created supportive learning environments for at-risk students and developed a multi-year math curriculum. Lizzie also garnered recognition as the 2015 and 2017 District Coach of the Year while serving as Varsity Cheer Coach at Hartland. An intern teacher at Holt High School, Lizzie focused on lesson planning and integrating technology in the classroom. Lizzie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Michigan State University in 2012, following a high school diploma from Northville High School in 2008.
