Ashley Seay-Green

Ashley Seay-Green has a wealth of experience in the design and construction industry. Ashley began their career in 2012 as a Design Assistant at Room Service Interior Design, where they produced CAD drawings and hand sketches, and led presentations of finished projects. In 2013, they moved to Quicken Loans as a Commercial Design Project Coordinator, where they originated and formatted space plans in Auto CAD, studied and operated the company 3D printer, and tracked project schedules and budgets. In 2014, they joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan as a Senior Project Manager - Real Estate, Design, and Planning, where they maintained a 3.5 million square foot corporate facility campus and achieved cost reduction of $20 psf in corporate real estate build-out projects. Ashley also held the roles of Project Coordinator - Real Estate, Design, and Planning, Corporate Facilites Space Planner, and Contracted Position - Project Coordinator - Moves. In 2018, they returned to Design Core Detroit as a Production Assistant. In 2019, they joined NORR as a Program Manager and Project Manager, acting as the primary liaison with the client, contractor, and project team. Ashley also negotiated, developed, monitored, and controlled the scope of deliverables, work plans, schedules, and budgets for all project stages. In 2022, they returned to Design Core Detroit as a Project Lead.

Ashley Seay-Green attended International Academy from 2006 to 2010, where they studied IB - Art. Ashley then transferred to Western Michigan University from 2010 to 2012, where they studied Interior Design. Finally, they attended The Art Institutes from 2015 to 2017 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Interior Design.
