Justin Phillips

Justin Phillips is an experienced Manufacturing Electrical Equipment Engineer III at Demand Detroit since 2014, specializing in the implementation and support of hardware and software for PLC, CNC, and HMI controls. Phillips has held several positions in the hockey community, including Hockey Official for the Michigan High School Athletic Association and the Ohio High School Athletic Association, earning the 2023 OHSAA Official of the Year award in Ice Hockey. As co-founder and president of the Greater Toledo Inline Hockey League, responsibilities include overseeing operations and coordinating referee activities. Previous experience includes working as a Controls Engineer for ITS Technologies and as an engineering intern for the City of Toledo, where significant contributions were made to energy efficiency projects. Justin Phillips holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Toledo.
