Nia Lee is an experienced product designer and entrepreneur currently serving as the Director of Experience for Detroit Means Business with the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation since January 2024. Nia founded both Niaflix and Squeze in 2023 and has been a senior freelance product designer since 2013. Previous positions include Product Design Manager at Kinly, Lead Product Designer at DockYard, Inc., and Senior Product Designer at Ellevest, among others. Nia's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Programming from Columbia College Chicago and an Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design from Robert Morris University - Illinois.

DEGC has been designed to make business success in Detroit possible. We know Detroit well, we know the city's government, and we're aware of the countless opportunities the city has to offer. The DEGC team consists of long-time members of the Detroit community who can inform you about all the things that make investing in Detroit a full, rich experience. DEGC is a private, non-profit organization. We're not part of the city of Detroit's government, but we are a long-time partner of it.
