Amy Huschka

Amy Huschka is an accomplished web editor with extensive experience in journalism and digital media. Currently serving as the Web Editor for the Detroit Free Press since October 2017, Amy writes and edits stories, manages the website, and oversees content sharing on social channels. Prior roles at the same organization include assistant editor/social media and web editor/social media, where Amy was instrumental in expanding the audience through digital analytics and social media engagement. Previous experience includes roles as a designer at the Detroit Free Press and news designer and copy editor at the Dayton Daily News. Amy began a career in journalism at the Anderson Independent-Mail as a lifestyle editor and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with a focus on Journalism from Eastern Kentucky University.
