Darcie Moran is an experienced journalist with a strong background in reporting and podcast production. Currently serving as a reporter, podcast producer, and support editor at the Detroit Free Press since January 2020, Darcie covers breaking news and investigative pieces while contributing to two news podcasts and editing for the Monday newspaper. Previously, Darcie worked as an in-depth reporter at MLive.com, where investigative reporting and podcast co-hosting were key responsibilities. Darcie also has experience covering public safety and legal matters at The Ann Arbor News and has held editorial positions and internships in various news organizations, focusing on diverse topics such as environmental issues, local community stories, and digital content management. Darcie Moran holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State University.
