Jeremy Dimick

Director Of Collections at Detroit Historical Society

Jeremy Dimick has a strong background in museum work and historical education. Jeremy began their career in 2007 as a History Specialist and Community Programs Coordinator at the Michigan Historical Museum, where they stayed until 2012. During this time, they gained valuable experience in coordinating community programs and educating the public about history. In 2012, Jeremy joined Sloan*Longway as a Curator of Collections, where they further developed their skills in managing and preserving collections. Jeremy remained with Sloan*Longway until 2017 when they transitioned to the role of Director of Collections at the Detroit Historical Society. Overall, Jeremy has over a decade of experience working in various capacities within the museum field, focusing on collections management and historical education.

Jeremy Dimick completed their Bachelor of Science in History with a concentration in Museum Studies from Central Michigan University between 2004 and 2007. Jeremy then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in History from the same university, which they completed between 2007 and 2009.
