Natalie Renko has a diverse work experience, primarily in accounting and finance roles. Natalie started their career as an Accounting & Operations Manager at ACCION Chicago in 2005 and then worked as a Staff Accountant at the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago from 2007 to 2009. Natalie later served as a Business Manager at OpenWorld Learning in 2009. Natalie then moved on to the American Red Cross - Mile High Chapter, where they worked as an Accounting Manager focused on payroll processes from 2010 to 2012.

From 2012 to 2014, they transitioned to the American Red Cross - Southeastern Michigan Chapter as a Finance Senior Analyst. Natalie then took on the role of Accounting Manager at Judson Center from 2014 to 2017. Following this, they worked at Samaritas as Manager, Finance - Home and Community from 2017 to 2018.

In 2019, Natalie joined Detroit PAL as an Accounting Manager. Natalie later joined the Detroit Historical Society in December 2020, where they currently hold the position of Accounting Manager.

Natalie Renko completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Natalie then went on to pursue a Masters degree in Business Administration at Wayne State University, which they completed in 2005.
