Gavin Lynch has a diverse work history in the field of multimedia and audio visual. Gavin began their career as a Multimedia Student Assistant at Wayne State University, where they gained experience in time-based media and animation. During this time, they also provided technical and video editing support to students and professors in the College of Education. Following this, Gavin worked at Beehive Recording Company as a Writer/Director/Animator of Video Advertisements. Gavin then joined the Detroit Institute of Arts as an AV Tech, responsible for audiovisual operations, and later advanced to the role of Audio Visual Manager. Gavin's experience spans from 2011 to the present.

Gavin Lynch has pursued higher education in the field of arts. Gavin obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Drawing from Delta College.
