Lori Wenzel

Lori Wenzel has a solid work experience in finance and accounting. Lori has been working as a Controller at the Detroit Institute of Arts since October 2014. Before that, they worked at Godfrey Hammel, Danneels & Company, PC for 16 years, starting in July 1998. There, they held the position of Senior Manager, CPA, specializing in employee benefit plan and non-profit audits, as well as having experience with construction accounting and working as a business valuation support staff. Prior to their time at Godfrey Hammel, Danneels & Company, PC, Lori worked at Bukowski Tax Service from May 1985 to July 1998, starting as a bookkeeper for their commercial clients and then managing the commercial bookkeeping and tax return department after graduating from college.

Lori Wenzel obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wayne State University, where they studied from 1984 to 1989.
