Christopher Guiao

Christopher Guiao, MBA, serves as the Assistant Chief Financial Officer at Detroit Medical Center since August 2022, previously holding the role of Group Assistant Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, Christopher held the position of Director of Business Operations at Ascension from January 2020 to August 2022 and was the Director of Finance at Beaumont Health between May 2016 and January 2020, where responsibilities included financial analysis and economic justifications. Earlier experience at St. John Providence spanned over 15 years, covering roles such as Surgical Services Business Manager, Interim Chief Financial Officer, and Sr. Financial Analyst, with a focus on managing surgical capital budgets and staff across departments. Christopher earned an MBA from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from Wayne State University.
