Bryce Rudder

Bryce Rudder has been a librarian for over thirteen years. Bryce began their career as a Library & Computer Lab Assistant at Bloomfield Hills Schools in 2006. In this role, they assisted the librarian with cataloging books, circulation, reference, research, book repair, and related duties. Bryce also assisted the Computer Lab Tech with computer set-up, maintenance, problem-solving, student assistance, and related projects.

In 2007, Bryce Rudder began working as a librarian at Detroit Public Schools Community District. In this role, they were responsible for collection development, cataloging books, reference, circulation and research. Bryce also managed the library computer lab.

In September 2020, Bryce Rudder became the Senior Librarian at the Allesee Dance & Opera Resource Library at Detroit Opera. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the library’s collections and services.

Bryce Rudder has a Master of Library & Information Science from Wayne State University. They specialize in Library and Information Science.

Bryce Rudder works with Juan Benavides - Building Engineer, Tiiko Reese-Douglas - Events Assistant, and Robert Neil - Manager, Opera House Parking Center. Their manager is Alexis Means, Director of Operations & Patron Experiences.
