Assane Sene

Assane Sene currently serves as a Player Development Assistant Coach for the Detroit Pistons since September 2023, having previously held the role of Video Intern/Player Development Coach. Sene's extensive experience in basketball includes positions as the Assistant Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach at The Darrow School since April 2019, and as a Basketball Coach at South Kent School from August 2015 to June 2018. A former professional basketball player, Sene has played for several teams, including the Lanus Club, Sodertalje Kings, NBA G League's Canton Charge, and Al Wasl Club. Sene's accomplishments include being a Sweden Basketball League Champion and a graduate of the University of Virginia, where a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature was earned.
