Bryce Murphy

Bryce Murphy is a performance science consultant for the Detroit Pistons since July 2023, and the head of data management and analytics at IMG Academy since June 2022. Previous roles include applied sports scientist for the Orlando Magic from August 2019 to June 2022, and data analyst for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee from August 2018 to September 2019, where responsibilities included leveraging R for data transformation and aggregation. Bryce's experience also encompasses high performance trainee at U.S. Ski & Snowboard, graduate assistant at the University of Minnesota, and various positions in strength and conditioning, including head strength & conditioning specialist at Laurus Athletic Rehab & Performance. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University.
