Larry Heymont

Larry Heymont is an accomplished professional in sports analytics and strategy, currently serving as the Senior Director of Analytics & Innovation for the Detroit Pistons since February 2024, leading the Analytics Department within Basketball Operations. Additionally, Larry works as a Strategy & Analytics Advisor for USA Basketball, contributing to the Men's Senior National Team for the 2023 FIBA World Cup and the 2024 Paris Olympics. Since August 2022, Larry has also been the Head of Strategy at Scouts Consulting Group LLC, providing analytics support for Team USA in prestigious golf events like the Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup. Prior experience includes senior roles at Lendistry and NBC Sports Group, focused on rights management, as well as a key position at the PGA of America, where Larry developed Team USA's first analytics program for the 2016 Ryder Cup. Larry holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in History from Cornell University.
