Pilar Doakes

Pilar Doakes brings extensive experience in event planning and hospitality management, currently serving in the role of Signature Events at the Detroit Regional Chamber since November 2022. Previously, Pilar held positions as Director of Hospitality at SMS Group of Companies, and as Events Coordinator and Ministry Affairs at Triumph Church, where responsibilities included collaborating with staff and managing event logistics. Pilar's background also includes a lead role at The Four Seasons Event Group, and positions in sales and event coordination at Riverside Marina Detroit and Regency Manor & Banquet Center. Pilar holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration from Wayne County Community College District and has educational experience from Bowling Green State University and Cass Technical High School.
