Aaron Tockstein is the Database Administrator at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Aaron has previously worked as the Database Administrator at the Detroit Zoological Society and Verdant Pastures Media, LLC.

Aaron has over thirteen years of experience working with databases. Aaron is skilled in business platforms such as Gateway Ticketing Systems' Galaxy and eGalaxy, Blackbaud's The Raiser's Edge, NetCommunity and The Financial Edge, Oracle’s NetSuite, Softerware’s DonorPerfect, and Constant Contact.

At the Detroit Zoological Society, Aaron was responsible for managing all aspects of the Zoo’s ticketing operations. Aaron successfully maintained the system that scanned up to 1.5 million guests per year and designed the procedures to process over 50,000 membership households per year. Aaron also introduced dynamic pricing across multiple packages during Wild Lights, the Detroit Zoo’s holiday event, which increased revenue by $500k in 2018 and another $500k in 2019.

Aaron has also presented at several Galaxy User Group Meetings and was a member of the team that led the Detroit Zoo to PCI Compliance.

Aaron Tockstein received their BS in Environmental Science (Biology tract) from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Aaron Tockstein reports to William Shell, Director of Information Technology. They work with Michelle Koning - Web Manager, Len Messing - Systems Administrator.
