Cybelle Codish

Cybelle Codish is an accomplished photographer and Kresge Artist Fellow at The Kresge Foundation since June 2019. With extensive experience, Codish has been a photographer for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra since 2012 and has worked with Mack Avenue Records, Wenha Music, and Hour Media in various freelance capacities since the mid-2000s. As the owner of Studio [c]ybelle since 2001, Codish specializes in editorial, portrait, and photojournalism photography. Additionally, Codish documented Detroit's jazz greats as they engaged with students in Detroit public schools. Educational background includes studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1994 to 1998 and attendance at University Liggett School.
