George Krappmann

George Krappmann is the Director of Safety & Security at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. George has over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, including with the ATF where they served as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge. In their current role, George is responsible for the safety and security of the DSO's musicians, staff, and patrons. George has implemented a number of security measures to ensure the DSO is a safe and secure environment for all.

George Krappmann's educational career began with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science/Criminal Justice from Michigan State University.

Their manager is Erik Rönmark, President & CEO. Some individuals on their team include Antonio Thomas - Security Officer, Norris Jackson - Security Officer, and Lawrence Johnson - Security Officer. They are on a team with Marc Geelhoed - Executive Producer of Live from Orchestra Hall, William Shell - Director of Information Technology, and Linda Lutz - VP & Chief Financial & Administrative Officer.
