Eduardo Trejo has a diverse work experience in purchasing and supplier quality management. Eduardo began their career in 1998 as an Interior Components Buyer at Nissan Mexicana S.A. de C.V., where they were responsible for sourcing components for new projects and negotiating with suppliers. In 2000, they joined Valeo as a Project Buyer, working on costing BOMs and components for new projects. Eduardo later served as a Supplier Quality Assurance Manager, managing SQA resources and ensuring compliance with quality requirements. Trejo also worked as a Commodity Manager, managing a team and implementing budget strategies. Eduardo then took on the role of North America Regional Segment Leader, managing the budget and coordinating efforts to consolidate volumes with competitive suppliers. In 2008, they became a Purchasing Manager at Valeo before joining Detroit Thermal Systems, LLC in 2014, where they currently hold the position of Purchasing Manager. Throughout their career, Trejo has demonstrated strong leadership skills, negotiation abilities, and a focus on achieving objectives within budget and timeline constraints.
Eduardo Trejo attended the Instituto Politécnico Nacional from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. Prior to that, in 1991, they graduated from the same institute with a degree in Mechanics. In 2008, Eduardo attended a seminar at the Tecnológico de Monterrey to enhance their interpersonal management skills.
