John Cain has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing industry. John started their career at Engineered Plastic Products in 1993 as a Maintenance Lead Tech and worked there until 2005. John then joined Johnson Controls Inc. as a Maintenance Technician and worked there until 2010. Following that, they joined A123 Systems and held multiple roles including Maintenance Lead Tech and Maintenance/Facilities Supervisor, where they were responsible for managing teams and overseeing maintenance and facility operations. Currently, they are working as an Injection Molding Machine Engineer at Detroit Thermal Systems, LLC.
John Cain has studied Industrial Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical at Wayne County Community College District. John has also obtained a Sous Chef Certification from MSTI and studied Culinary Arts/Chef Training at EDHS. In addition to their educational background, they hold a Journeyman Electrician certification from UAW Local 372, obtained in 1995, and a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Certification from the State of Michigan, obtained in 1999.
