Sean Tharpe

Sean Tharpe is a seasoned construction project manager with extensive experience in overseeing construction projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Currently serving as a Senior Construction Project Manager at the Detroit Zoological Society since October 2018, Sean previously held the position of Construction Engineer at Wade Trim from June 2005 to October 2018. Sean's responsibilities have included supervising contractors, monitoring project quality, conducting preliminary reviews, coordinating QA/QC activities, and producing detailed documentation. Additionally, Sean's early career includes an engineering internship at the Monroe County Road Commission, where involvement in traffic studies and construction inspections contributed to foundational skills in the field. Sean holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University and an Associate's degree in Engineering Technology from Henry Ford College.
