Jessica Kaplan

Jessica Kaplan has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance field. Jessica most recently worked as the Head of Legal & Compliance at deugro group. Prior to that, they served as the Corporate Counsel, Legal & Compliance at Zamin Resources Limited, where they played a crucial role in ensuring compliance with international regulations and managing corporate policies and processes. Jessica also worked as the Group Integrity Liaison Officer at ABB, focusing on anti-corruption and anti-bribery programs. Before that, they had experience as an Associate at Vanderbrook & Co. and worked as a Summer Associate at Baker & Hostetler LLP. Jessica also interned at Newton Running Company and Baker & Hostetler LLP. Throughout their career, Jessica has shown expertise in contract negotiations, corporate compliance, legal research, and representing international clients.

Jessica Kaplan earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in International Affairs and Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder, from 2002 to 2005. Jessica then went on to pursue a Juris Doctor - JD degree in Law at the University of Colorado, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. During their time at the University of Colorado, Jessica also attended Bucerius Law School in 2009 to study Comparative Business Law. Jessica obtained additional certifications, including being admitted to the Colorado Bar in August 2010 by the Colorado Supreme Court and being trained in Dare to Lead from Dare to Lead™ Trained in June 2021.
