Anestis Taskos

Anestis Taskos has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Anestis is currently the Head of Operations at Deus Ex Machina, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Operations at PaxeraHealth from January 2019 to May 2020, where they established policies to promote the company's vision, values, and culture.

Before PaxeraHealth, Anestis founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of Bay State Solar Solutions, LLC / Rhode Island Solar Solutions Inc. from January 2015 to January 2019. In this role, they managed the capital request and budgeting processes, developed performance measures and monitoring systems, and oversaw daily operations. Anestis also held leadership roles in accounting, human resources, legal, and tax departments, and maintained partner, vendor, and banking relationships.

Prior to their ventures in the solar industry, Anestis was the Founder and Managing Partner of Smash Table Tennis Club from October 2014 to October 2015. Anestis managed the day-to-day operations and organized various events, including leagues, national tournaments, and casual and corporate gatherings. The location of Smash later became the office space and warehouse for Solar Solutions.

Anestis also founded and managed Kourasanit NOLA Inc, a company importing natural, decorative coatings for kitchen and bath settings, from November 2012 to September 2014. However, the company faced challenges in breaking into the New Orleans market.

Before entering the business world, Anestis gained valuable knowledge and experience as a Proprietary Trader at Chimera Securities / Dimension Group / Spectrum Capital from February 2004 to December 2012. Anestis developed a deep understanding of the financial markets and managed high-stress conditions.

Anestis began their career as a Graduate and Teaching Assistant at Baruch College's Subotnick Financial Services Center from February 2002 to December 2003. Anestis also served as a Second Lieutenant of Transportation in the 786th Transport Battalion of the Greek Armed Forces from January 1999 to January 2001. Their military training instilled principles of respect, honor, and discipline that continue to guide him.

Anestis Taskos obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia, which they attended from 1994 to 1998. Anestis then pursued an MBA in Finance at Baruch College from 2002 to 2003. These certifications were obtained from various institutions, including LinkedIn, over the course of several years, with the most recent obtained in January 2021.
