Ioannis Mavroforos

Ioannis Mavroforos has over 20 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Ioannis is currently employed as a Senior Program Manager at DEUS EX MACHINA since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at WIND Hellas for five years from 2016 to 2021, serving as a Network Program Manager.

Before their role at WIND Hellas, Ioannis worked as a Project Manager at Upstream from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they were responsible for coordinating internal resources and third parties for project execution, defining project specifications and client requirements, and tracking progress through project plans.

From 2012 to 2014, Ioannis worked as a Packet Core Network Engineer O&M at WIND Hellas. Ioannis also gained experience at Huawei as a Network Integration Engineer from 2011 to 2012, where they were involved in LTE testing and commissioning, technical supervision, and handling of network issues.

Prior to their time at Huawei, Ioannis worked at Vodafone in various roles. From 2009 to 2011, they served as a Radio Systems Engineer, responsible for BSC/RNC activation, hardware expansions, and installation and testing of equipment. Ioannis also worked as a Radio Network Management Engineer from 2007 to 2009, overseeing the radio and core network and coordinating infrastructure works and project upgrades. In addition, they held the position of NMC Engineer from 2005 to 2007, focusing on network management and operations.

At the beginning of their career, Ioannis worked as a Junior MTX Engineer at Vodafone from 2001 to 2002.

Overall, Ioannis Mavroforos has demonstrated a strong background in telecommunications, with experience in program management, network operations, project management, and network integration.

Ioannis Mavroforos completed their education in chronological order. From 1997 to 2002, they attended the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2002, they furthered their education at Brunel University London and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Data Communication Systems, which they completed in 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Ioannis Mavroforos also obtained a certification in Scrum Fundamentals. Ioannis received this certification in December 2018 from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
