Leslie Hernandez is a bilingual intake specialist at The Deuterman Law Group since May 2023, bringing extensive experience in legal assistance and community outreach. Previous roles include legal assistant/paralegal and administrative assistant at A.G. Linett & Associates, where responsibilities encompassed managing communications, scheduling, and administrative tasks. As a John M Belk Endowment Impact Fellow at LatinxEd, Leslie engaged in advocacy efforts, while also canvassing for Democratic candidates with Mijente. Further experience includes serving roles in food service, dance, and civic engagement initiatives at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on Global Politics was earned. Additionally, an Associate of Arts degree was obtained from Surry Community College.
