Riaan Myburgh

Riaan Myburgh is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently serving as Chief Engineer - Strategic Technology at Deutsche Aircraft since February 2021, Riaan leads an innovation team and develops technology roadmaps aligned with product strategy. Prior roles include Lead - Aircraft Performance at Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, where leadership of a multi-cultural team focused on Engine Performance and Safety Assessment took place, and Section Chief at Bombardier Aerospace, overseeing aircraft performance analysis for notable programs such as the Global 7500. Riaan's career also includes foundational roles in Flight Sciences at Diamond Aircraft Canada and aeronautical engineering at CSIR. Riaan holds multiple engineering degrees, including a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Kansas and advanced management training from Harvard Business School.
