Andreas Dannenberg

Andreas Dannenberg is an experienced professional currently serving as Vorstandsreferent in the Board of Digitalization & Technology at Deutsche Bahn since July 2020, providing executive support to Dr. Daniela Gerd tom Markotten. Previously, Andreas held the role of Seniorreferent focusing on project portfolio management for the overall rail system within the same organization. Prior to Deutsche Bahn, Andreas worked at thyssenkrupp from April 2012 to July 2020 as a Project Manager in both Innovation, Technology & Sustainability and Battery & Testing Solutions, managing R&D projects and leading international teams in the automotive sector. Earlier experience includes a Master Thesis at Daimler AG and internships at various organizations including DESMA Schuhmaschinen GmbH and Bosch Belgium. Andreas holds a Master of Engineering degree from Jade Hochschule and a Bachelor of Engineering from HSB Hochschule Bremen, along with an international study experience at Mälardalen University.
