Bastian Ebinger

Bastian Ebinger is an experienced professional in digital transformation and information technology, currently serving as the CIO for Deutsche Bahn's konzernweite Produktions-IT and project leader for the Digital Production Network since January 2022. Previously, Bastian held various roles at DB Systel GmbH from September 2013 to October 2022, including SVP of Digitization of Train Operations and Maintenance, where responsibilities included overseeing the digital transformation of train operations across the DB group. Bastian's earlier career includes roles in consulting and sales at CGI and Logica, along with positions as a network administrator at Harz Energie GmbH & Co KG and Hilscher Gesellschaft für Systemautomation mbH. Bastian holds a Diplom Wirtschaftsinformatiker degree from Technische Universität Clausthal, obtained between 2002 and 2006.
