Joanne Hannaford

Joanne Hannaford currently serves as the CIO & CPO for Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank since February 2024. Prior to this role, Joanne held the position of Chief Technology and Operations Officer and Executive Board member at Credit Suisse from January 2022 to February 2024. Joanne's extensive experience at Goldman Sachs spanned nearly 25 years, culminating in roles such as Partner and CIO for EMEA Engineering & Global Head of Regulatory Engineering, as well as Global Head of Corporate and Operations Technology. Joanne also led the technical architecture and development of enterprise platforms and engineering functions for compliance and legal technology. Earlier career milestones include serving as Executive Director of Global Volume Trading Systems at NatWest Markets and Vice President of Equities Analytics at UBS Investment Bank. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with First Class Hons from the University of Staffordshire and a BTEC HND in Computer Science from Anglia Ruskin University. Currently, Joanne is pursuing a Fellowship in Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London.
