Klaus Schernthanner

Klaus Schernthanner is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in wealth management and corporate finance. Since November 2000, Klaus has held various senior roles at Deutsche Bank, currently serving as Managing Director for Wealth Management Austria, where responsibilities include overseeing the bank's wealth management activities in the region. Previously, Klaus managed relationships with Austrian and selected Swiss corporate clients as Head of Wealth Management and as a Senior Client Executive in Investment Banking. Early career experiences include roles in M&A teams at DZ BANK AG and J.P. Morgan, and a strong academic background in theoretical and mathematical physics with a Ph.D. from Universität Innsbruck.
