Shimon Berger

Shimon Berger is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Regional Head of Tax for the Americas and the Global Head of Business Products and Transactions at Deutsche Bank since December 2010. In this role, Shimon oversees all corporate income tax functions across the Americas, including tax financial reporting, compliance, planning, and controversies. Prior positions include Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, Tax Counsel roles at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers, and an Associate position at Morrison & Foerster LLP and Clifford Chance US LLP, with a focus on financial services, capital markets, and international tax planning. Shimon holds an LL.M. in Tax from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and a B.S. in Accounting from Touro University.
