Carsten Schäfer

Carsten Schäfer is currently a Member of the Supervisory Board at Deutsche Börse. Schäfer has extensive experience in ICT Risk Management and IT Risk Management within the company. Additionally, Schäfer has worked on various projects related to strategy development and market research. Prior to their current roles, Schäfer worked as a Project Manager at Deutsche Börse Systems AG and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at McGill University, focusing on complex rhythms in cardiac and respiratory systems. Schäfer holds a Postdoc degree in Nonlinear Dynamics from McGill University and a Dr.rer.nat. degree in Physics from the University of Potsdam.
