Dr. Monir Taik

Dr. Monir Taik has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Dr. Monir began their career in 2008 as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at FU-Berlin, where they worked until 2010. Dr. Monir then moved on to the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority BaFin, where they served as a Trainee Lawyer from May 2012 to August 2012. Following that, they worked as a Trainee Lawyer at Linklaters LLP from September 2012 to May 2013. Dr. Monir then joined EAE Rechtsanwaelte as a Trainee Lawyer in June 2013 for a brief period of two months. In 2014, Dr. Taik became an Associate / Lawyer at Linklaters, a position they held until March 2016. Dr. Monir then joined Deutsche Börse as a Legal Counsel / Syndikusrechtsanwalt from April 2016 to June 2018. Dr. Monir was subsequently promoted to the role of Principal Legal Counsel / Syndikusrechtsanwalt at Deutsche Börse, where they worked from July 2018 to June 2020. Currently, Dr. Monir Taik holds the position of Head of Regulatory Legal - Data & Indices, Post-Trading at Deutsche Börse, starting from July 2020.

From 2011 to 2013, Dr. Taik attended Higher Regional Court Frankfurt, where they obtained a degree in Law, specifically a 2. Legal State Exam.
