Michael Hench is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in system administration and network management. Currently serving as a Linux Administrator at Deutsche Börse since October 2018, Michael oversees Linux and OpenVMS systems that facilitate global capital markets. Prior to this role, Michael was a Lead Systems Analyst at DePaul University, where responsibilities included maintaining business processes and managing project requirements for the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system. As the Owner/Managing Director of Bricks 4 Kidz, Michael led STEM-based enrichment programs for children, while previous positions at Northeastern Illinois University included Assistant Director of Network and Distributed Services, where significant technology projects were executed. Additional experience encompasses consulting for Neumark Technology Group and working as a Network Administrator at Baker & McKenzie, along with a support technician role at Loyola University Chicago. Michael holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago.
