Jasper Burden

Jasper Burden's work experience is as follows:

1. Head of Information Technology at DFMG Deutsche Funkturm GmbH since May 2023.

2. Director OSS Transformation at Tech Mahindra from October 2022 to April 2023.

3. Head of Delivery IT Transformation at Vodafone from January 2018 to September 2022. In this role, they were responsible for selecting vendors, leading architectural and solution design, implementing Agile methodologies, and delivering a successful program in a cloud environment.

4. Head of Billing, Charging & Service Platforms at Vodafone from January 2010 to January 2018. Jasper led the IT Engineering department and transformed the charging & services environment while delivering innovative services and tariffs.

5. Head of Strategic Planning Technology at Vodafone from January 2005 to December 2009. Jasper transformed the Network and IT Organization to align costs with revenues and delivered a 5-year network strategy for cost savings.

6. Worldwide Programme Manager at Vodafone from September 1999 to December 2004. Jasper consolidated and restructured research programs and set up All-IP programs.

7. Senior Manager Radio Planning and Optimization at Vodacom from May 1994 to August 1999. Jasper led a team to deploy a high-quality radio network in South Africa.

8. Project Manager - Radio Projects at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) from January 1993 to April 1994. Jasper developed and sold radio planning tools and provided consultancy services for planning radio networks.

Jasper Burden has a strong educational background. Jasper obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria in 1990. Jasper then pursued a Master's Degree in Electromagnetism from the same university, completing it in 1993. Following this, they attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and earned an MBA specializing in Strategy, which they completed in 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Jasper Burden also obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2020.
