Andreas Smarsly

Andreas Smarsly has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Andreas is currently working as the Chief Procurement Officer / Bereichsleiter Einkauf at Deutsche GigaNetz GmbH since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Strategic Procurement at Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) from September 2019 to October 2022. Andreas also worked as the Head of Procurement Site Works, Materials & Logistics at ENERCON from October 2016 to September 2019. Before that, they held the position of Global Commodity Manager / Supplier Manager at Dräger from August 2010 to October 2016. Andreas'searlier experience includes working as a Category Buyer / Project Buyer at Continental from December 2006 to July 2010.

Andreas Smarsly holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg.
