Tom Schmidt

Tom Schmidt is an experienced IT leader with a strong background in infrastructure, cloud management, and business automation. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at StackGuardian and Managing Director of IT Infrastructure at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG, Tom has previously held significant roles at PagoNxt as CISO and Head of the global Tech Competence Center, and at Wirecard as Executive Vice President for Shared Services. Tom’s expertise includes managing high-performing international teams and developing IT as a business enabler, with prior positions at Clientfocus GmbH and Materna GmbH focusing on cloud and data center automation. Educational qualifications include degrees in Wirtschaftsinformatik and Systemintegration from Sabel München and IHK München, respectively.
