Monia Mersni

Monia Mersni has extensive experience in the media industry, currently serving as an editor at dpa Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH since September 2018, where roles have included editor for custom content, correspondent, and trainee. Prior to this, Monia worked as a producer at ARD German TV in 2017 and previously in 2016, and held a position as a student assistant at WDR from September 2012 to February 2014. Early in the career, Monia gained experience as a freelancer at Radio Aachen in 2009. Educationally, Monia Mersni graduated from the University of Cologne with a Bachelor of Arts in African Languages and Cultures, as well as Languages and Cultures of the Islamic World, completing studies in 2016.
