Asumpta Lattus has extensive experience in media and project management, currently serving as Head of Department for English for Africa at Deutsche Welle since September 2011. In this role, Asumpta has also taken on the responsibilities of New Work Project Manager and Deputy Head, while overseeing content creation as Editor and managing social media channels. Previously, Asumpta worked at DW Akademie, coordinating projects aimed at bridging the digital gender gap in East Africa. Earlier experience includes producing youth-oriented programming for a radio station in Germany. Asumpta holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Media Management from the University of Leeds and a Master's degree in Social Communication from Universita Pontificia Salesiana.
