Sebastian K. is an experienced professional in the international content business, currently serving as a Business Development Manager and Distribution Consultant for Deutsche Welle since August 2020. Previously, Sebastian worked as Geschäftsführer at AVerrand, where a strong focus on rights sales, distribution, and production leveraged over 15 years of expertise. In the esports sector, Sebastian held the position of Global Director Media Rights at ESL - Turtle Entertainment, where sales processes were established and international revenue was enhanced. Prior to that, Sebastian was Director Media Distribution at WME IMG, playing a crucial role in media rights sales within the DACH region and overseeing a team. With earlier experience as Senior Manager Sports Rights at IMG Media, the successful commercialization of sports rights portfolios was achieved. Sebastian holds a Diploma in Media Management from Hochschule Mittweida, earned from 2003 to 2007.
