Robert Thorhorst

Robert Thorhorst has extensive experience in the wind energy sector, currently serving as Technischer Support at Deutsche Windtechnik AG since February 2021. Previously, Robert held significant roles at Adwen Offshore as Meister Inbetriebnahme for a 5MW test stand, and at Areva Wind GmbH as Baugruppenleiter Inbetriebnahme. Robert began a career in technology as a Monteur at AREVA Multibrid GmbH and gained foundational experience as an Elektroniker at HYDRO ALUMINIUM. An early career at OBI Group Holding included roles in retail management. Educational qualifications include training as an Elektroniker für Betriebstechnik from BTI Neuss and an Industriemeister degree from IHK Bremerhaven, along with a Kaufmann im Einzelhandel qualification from BBS Frechen.
