Theresa Schmidt

Theresa Schmidt is an experienced project manager specializing in migration and integration, currently working at Deutscher Caritasverband e.V. since April 2022, where coordination of federally funded projects focuses on the empowerment of vulnerable refugees and community sponsorship. Previously, Theresa served as a project officer at IN VIA Deutschland e.V. and held project management roles at Deutscher Caritasverband e.V. during 2019-2020. Early career experience includes an internship in the Department of Migration and Integration at the German Caritas Association and a role as a programme coordinator for Cenit Ecuador's sponsorship program. Theresa holds a Master of Arts in European Global Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a focus on Sociology, both obtained from the University of Basel.
